TAMPA, Fla. - The
Stetson women's tennis team finished competition at the ITA Southeast Regional in
Tampa on Sunday.
In the back draw, freshman Andrea Crespo (Valencia, Spain)
was defeated by Megan Kurey of Georgia Tech in the quarterfinals, losing the match 7-5, 6-2.
Crespo was the final Hatter to compete in the event.
Overall, the Hatters picked up two singles wins and two
doubles wins over the weekend. This was the fourth, and final event of the fall
season for the Hatters.
The women's tennis team will begin their spring season with
a home match at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center, where they will play against
Flagler College on February 2 at 10 a.m.
