DeLand, Fla. - The 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24 Stetson women's basketball home game at the Edmunds Center against A-Sun rival North Florida has been designated as this season's annual Pink Zone/Pack the House game.  The Hatters will attempt to set a program and conference attendance record with proceeds benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.

The game is not only important in terms of its expected large crowd and charitable cause, but in the conference standings as well.  The Hatters (15-12, 11-7 Atlantic Sun) and the Ospreys (13-14, 11-7 A-Sun) are tied for fourth with Stetson in position to clinch the #2 seed in the upcoming General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Conference Championships (Macon, Ga. - March 2-5) with a victory.  Stetson won 75-62 at UNF on Dec. 4, 2010 and is looking for a sweep of the season series.

The UNF-Stetson men's basketball contest will immediately follow the women's game.
