DeLand, Fla. - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) honored both the Stetson men's and women's soccer squads as among its national list of Team Academic Award winners. Both Head Coach T. Logan Fleck's men and Head Coach Julie Orlowski's women posted collective team grade point averages of 3.0 or higher for the 2010-11 academic year.

Only 68 out of 300+ NCAA Division I institutions picked up honors for both men's and women's soccer; Stetson was one of four in the Atlantic Sun Conference to do so, joining FGCU, Mercer and USC Upstate. Both the Hatter men and women posted well over the minimum qualifying GPA.

This is the second year in a row that both Stetson soccer squads have been so honored and the third consecutive award for Coach Orlowski's women's soccer program.
