Final Tune-Up
This weekend marks the last of four regular season tournaments that the Hatters will participate in this season.  It is also Stetson's final non-conference tune-up before the start of Atlantic Sun Conference play next weekend.

"This is a key weekend for us," head coach Tim Loesch said.  "We have got to be prepared for conference play after this tournament.  One of things we need to focus on is our consistency.  We seem to make a good play, then have a mental error, then a good play, then a physical error.  We want our kids doing the right thing nine times out of 10 instead of one out of two."

Strong Starts
The Hatters are now 8-5 in first sets this year, but just 5-21 combined in sets two and three.

Near Misses
Stetson has had its share of near misses this season.  The Hatters have lost three of their four "5-set matches", including Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Florida Atlantic.  Stetson has also lost three matches in four sets.  And in their 13 sets decided by the minimum of two points, the Hatters are 5-8.

A-Sun Statistical Rankings
The Hatters 1.85 team blocks per set ranks third in the A-Sun.  Ellen Hawks ranks second in the A-Sun in total blocks (49) and fourth in blocks/set (0.96).  Monique Russell leads the A-Sun with 227 digs, and ranks fifth in digs per set (4.45).

All-Time Digs Record
Monique Russell now ranks second in school history with 1166 career digs.  She needs 122 more digs to set the school record, which is held by Melissa Roy (1287 digs, 1994-97)

Kaley Melville has recorded five double-doubles this season (10+ kills / 10+ digs in the same match).  Only ETSU's Megan Divine has more doubles in the conference this season (8).  Kelli Carneal has four double-doubles (assists and digs) and Kayla Weller has one.

Up Next - Conference Play
Stetson begins Atlantic Sun Conference play next weekend with matches Friday at Mercer and Saturday at Kennesaw State.
