TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The
Stetson men's tennis team finished day three of competition at the ITA
Southeast Regional in Tallahassee on Saturday.
In the singles main draw, senior Didrik Berg (Oslo, Norway)
was defeated by Gabriel Flores of Miami 6-0, 6-3 in the round of 32.
In the singles consolation draw, freshman Cahit Kapukiran
(Izmir Turkey) won his first match, defeating Amar Hromic of UCF 6-4, 7-6 (5)
in the round of 32. In the round of 16, Kapukiran fell to Oliver Pramming of
USF, losing the match 6-3, 7-6 (2).
In a singles consolation qualifying match, freshman Laurynas
Antropikas (Palanga, Lithuania) picked up a win, defeating Anish Sharma 6-0,
6-7, 14-12.
