The Stetson volleyball team concludes the 2012 season this weekend as the Hatters (4-29, 0-16 A-Sun) host Northern Kentucky (23-7, 10-6) at 6 p.m. Friday and Lipscomb (17-10, 14-2) at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Edmunds Center.

Saturday will be Senior Day as the Hatters will honor Madison Anderson, Kelli Carneal, Samantha Freeman, and Monique Russell prior to the match.

Coach Tim Loesch Talks About the Senior Class

Madison Anderson – "Maddie is a hard worker, she is well liked by her teammates and she has a very positive attitude.  She always does whatever she can to help the team.  Maddie is an exemplary role model for the younger players."

Kelli Carneal – "Kelli is a fighter that battled through injury and illness to have a superb volleyball career at Stetson.  Much has been asked of her and she has given much back to the program.  She has always been a fierce competitor."

Samantha Freeman – "Samantha decided to play again as a graduate student which was great to see.  Even better is that she put in all the hard work in rehab, summer conditioning and fall practice.  Samantha is a very determined young woman."

Monique Russell – "Moe is a team captain, a vocal leader and is internally driven. She gladly does the dirty work for the team relentlessly passing, digging and hustling.  Moe is the definition of a consummate teammate."
