Senior
Adam Pegg was recognized for his accomplishments on and off the court on
Thursday afternoon. He was named to the
Capital One Academic All-District 4 Team, as announced by the College Sports
Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Pegg leads the Stetson men's basketball team with 16.0
points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season.
The center has scored in double figures in 15 straight games, and 18 of
19 overall in 2012-13. Pegg has recorded
three double-doubles as a senior, including each of the past two contests.
An integrative health science major, Pegg has a cumulative
GPA of 3.39. In order to qualify for the
honors, all student-athletes must have at least a 3.30 GPA. Pegg will now be put on the ballot for Academic
All-America, along with all of the other All-District honorees.
