The Stetson lacrosse team (0-3) will play host to William
& Mary (1-3) at the Athletic Training Center on Saturday. The Hatters and the tribe are scheduled to
begin bright and early at 10:00 a.m. in the morning.
Stetson is still looking for its first win, but scored its
most goals yet this past Sunday, totaling four in a loss to UC Davis. Freshman Danielle Horgan tallied two, which
ties her with sophomore Samantha Akl and freshman Paige Levesque for the team
lead through three games in 2013.
The Tribe comes to DeLand with an overall record of
1-3. William & Mary opened the
season with a victory over American, but has since fallen to No. 7 Duke, No. 13
Ohio State, and Colonial Athletic Conference foe Old Dominion. Krystin Mackrides leads the Tribe with 13
goals through four games in 2013.
After Saturday's contest against William & Mary, Stetson
will continue its seven-game home stand to open the season with games next week
against Presbyterian on Tuesday, March 5 and Campbell on Friday, March 8.
For fans unable to make it out to the Athletics Training
Center, Saturday's game can be viewed on HatterVision. Live Stats, the @StetsonLacrosse Twitter
feed, and Hat-Alerts will also be available for in-game updates.
