The Stetson lacrosse team is set to play its first games outside the state of Florida. The Hatters (0-9), in search of their first win, will travel west to take on St. Mary’s on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and California on Monday at 4:00 p.m.
The Gaels (2-6) welcome Stetson to Moraga with an overall record of 2-6 in 2013. St. Mary’s has lost all six of its games away from home, but are an undefeated 2-0 in the friendly confines of the St. Mary’s Stadium. Against Stetson common opponents the Gaels fell to San Diego State on the road by a score of 19-6, and defeated UC Davis at home 16-15 in overtime.
The Golden Bears (5-3) have won five out of their last six contests, including Wednesday night’s 12-9 victory over Fairfield. California will play one more road game out east, at Yale on Friday, before welcoming Stetson to Berkeley on Monday. The Bears are 3-1 at home this season, and have begun 3-0 in conference play.
Both games will feature live stats and a live video stream. For Friday’s contest, fans can watch stats and video through GoHatters.com and HatterVision. On Monday, fans are directed to CalBears.com for live stats and video. The @StetsonLacrosse Twitter feed and Hat-Alerts are also available for in-game updates.
