"Obviously we're excited about bringing in our first recruiting class," Khettry said. "It is a really large class. With 15 student-athletes, it is the largest class that I've ever recruited. From top to bottom they give us a great deal of experience. This class makes our team more competitive right away by the sheer numbers, but also by the quality of the players we brought in."

Chose Stetson over: Jacksonville State, Colgate

Khettry: "Casey is a technical, hard, and versatile player. We can see Casey playing as an outside back and anywhere in the midfield. Because Casey is a complete player, she gives us a lot of options in how to best utilize her skill-set and I think she has the capability to play as a forward as well. She can strike the ball and is a threat to score goals from outside the box. We like her competitiveness and I know she will find time on the field, we’re just not sure in what position that will be her first year."

She is the type of forward that can take people on and create opportunities off the dribble with her crossing and her movement off the ball. We are hoping she adapts quickly to the college game and our style of play and we expect her to score goals and help create goal scoring opportunities for others. She is a clever player in the attacking third and I think she will help us create more goal scoring chances. She can shoot from distance and is really good at combining with others in tight spaces. Khettry: "Anna is technically very good, she's left-footed, and she's an excellent passer of the ball. Her tireless ability to get up and down the flank will be an asset, as will her ability to connect passes on a consistent basis. While she isn’t the biggest player, she is tough physically and is a solid 1v1 defender. Chose Stetson over: Western Illinois, Illinois-Chicago, Florida Atlantic

Khettry: "Ashley is courageous and extremely athletic. She is aggressive, quick, and explosive between the pipes and will compete for a starting position immediately. She is a confident goalkeeper, great with her feet and at directing and communicating with her defenders, and very solid at crosses. While her size may seem like an issue, all goalkeepers have aspects of their style that they must compensate for. For Ashley, she is going to have to read play and be closer to her line when players get into shooting range, but she has excellent hands and a confident ability to deal with balls in traffic and deal with high shots."

Chose Stetson over: UNCG, UNC Asheville, USC Upstate

Khettry: "Kat is working with us this semester and is eager to learn and improve every day. Her work rate and positive attitude are excellent. It will be interesting to see where she is developmentally at the end of the spring, and we are hopeful that the experience she receives this semester will allow her to help us improve as a program."

She has a very good ability to switch the point of attack, and much like our current midfielders, wants to be a part of the attack. I am hopeful that she will provide us with depth and options in midfield, as we were very thin in that position this past fall. I think Bri has a lot of potential to continue to improve as a player and very much like Carmen Bernecker, she can be special technically."

We can see Annette playing a variety of positions on all three lines. Because of her versatility, I think Annette is going to get on the field quickly. Where Annette will play is not certain, but we know and expect that she will be on the field for us on a consistent basis and be a solid contributor her freshmen year."

Khettry: "Meredith is hardworking, quick, and a good defender. She will definitely add to our attack as she is a very good passer of the ball and works hard up and down the flank. Meredith is going to compete for playing time immediately and our hope is that even if she isn’t starting, that she is getting playing time and allowing us to have great depth and versatility with our defenders. I like Meredith’s potential and her upside, and I think she is another player who is going to continue to improve during her four years of college."

Khettry: "Kahri is long, athletic, and good fundamentally. We are very excited about her potential. She has the size and the physical tools to be a starting goalkeeper immediately and will compete to do so. She has the frame to deal with and dominate crosses in the box and is very solid with her feet. If Kahri can continue to improve her presence and organize her defenders and be a consistent communicator, I believe she has the tools to be a very good Division 1 goalkeeper. She certainly has the mentality and work-rate to do so."

Chose Stetson over: Rice, SMU, Wyoming, Southern Mississippi

Khettry: "Adrianna is a very talented and skillful midfielder. She has a great attacking mentality, excellent vision, and a terrific range of passing. She is also great in the air, displays great leadership potential, and coming from the ECNL environment and from such a storied club as the Challenge SC, she will be well prepared for this level. We expect Adrianna to compete for a starting position in the middle of midfield immediately. Our hope is that she can help us create more goal-scoring opportunities and score a few goals from midfield, as well as off of set-pieces with her head. She is another player who will add a lot of positive energy to our team and help our team culture and competitiveness."

Chose Stetson over: USF, Florida State, FGCU, VCU

Khettry: "Katie is fast, athletic and comes with a great deal of experience from the ODP Regional level. Katie has a good attitude to attack, beat players 1v1, and create goal scoring opportunities for herself and for others. It’s going to be nice to have another speedster up front to challenge opposing team’s restraining lines because she is a threat to get behind defenders with and without the ball. Katie is also versatile and has played outside back at the Regional level; so she is another player who gives us options."

Zaccheo earned Eastern Massachusetts All-Star honors and was an All-Scholastic Honorable Mention in 2013. She totaled a staggering 73 assists to go along with 26 goals during her four year high school career. Playing club soccer with Scorpions SC, she advanced to the State Cup Semifinals, to go along with winning the Jefferson Cup, the MPS Thanksgiving Showcase, and the Scorpion Bowl.

Chose Stetson over: Cornell, Northeastern, NJIT

Khettry: "Allison has an absolutely great attitude, work rate and is incredibly versatile. She has a lot of potential to impact our program as a defender or forward because of her pace, technical ability, and tenacity. She has a contagiously positive attitude and is usually always smiling. I know we are going to enjoy working with her and I know our team is going to enjoy having her be a part of our program. I think Allison is still learning how to be an attacker, but she is clever off the ball and I know she is the kind of forward who will be difficult to defend for an entire match. Once again, Allison is going to give us immediate depth and compete for playing time. Our hope is that like the other attackers, she will create goal-scoring chances for others and score some goals herself."
