Tim Holt was named the Hatters offensive line coach on April 28, 2014.

A native of Dighton, Mass., Holt has four years of coaching experience in the NFL, most recently with the Chicago Bears in 2012. He also spent three seasons as an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As a player, Holt was a three-year letterman at Division II Southern Connecticut State University. He started his coaching career at his alma mater where he spent two seasons as a graduate assistant.

Since leaving his alma mater, Holt has spent time coaching at Lehigh, Cornell, American International and Stonehill College. He also returned to his alma mater for four seasons from 2004-07, working with the offensive line before moving to coach the running backs.

In 2009, Holt was hired as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coaching intern, before becoming an offensive assistant, and then the assistant offensive line coach under then head coach Raheem Morris and offensive coordinator Greg Olsen in 2011. In his final two seasons with the Bucs, the team's offensive line yielded 4.5 rushing yards per carry, seventh best in the NFL.

Following his stint with the Bucs, Holt was hired by the Bears in 2012 to succeed Mike Tice, who was promoted to offensive coordinator, as offensive line coach under Lovie Smith.

During his career Holt has worked with two Pro Bowl players, 21 All-Conference selections and three All-Americans.

Holt is married and he and wife Bridget have four daughters – Madailein, Cailin, Aislinn and Tegwyn.
