The Stetson men's basketball team travels to Tallahassee tonight to take on the Florida State Seminoles. Game time is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

This is the 49^th time the two teams have played with FSU holding a 37-11 series advantage.  The last time Stetson defeated Florida State was a 63-54 win in DeLand. It was the first year playing in the Edmunds Center (March 5, 1975). Stetson was 22-4 overall and undefeated (16-0) at home that season.

Last season Stetson dropped a 72-59 game in Tallahassee on November 30. The Hatters fell behind by eight points in the first half and could not make up the difference in the second. An 18-2 run by FSU in the second half sparked by three 3-pointers by Ralph Mims was key factor. Stetson finished with a 33-32 advantage in rebounds yet were outshot 47% to 43%. Mims and Toney Douglas led all scorers with 16 points easch. Eric Diaz was Stetson's top scorer with 14, while Garfield Blair and Kris Thomas chipped in 13 points each.

Tonight's game will be broadcast on television with FSN Florida covering the game.
