Former Stetson standout pitcher Corey Kluber who is currently playing for the Class A Lake Elsinore Storm was named the California League's Pitcher of the Week for May 25-31. Kluber was a 4th round draft pick(134th overall) by the San Diego Padres after his junior season in 2007. That year he was voted the Atlantic Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year after finishing with a 12-2 record and 117 strike outs (5th highest season total ever at Stetson).
