The Stetson Athletics Department is proud to announce the introduction of Hatter Village, a tent festival and fan interaction area prior to the Hatters’ home football games.
Hatter Village will debut on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 3:00 p.m. Occupied by student and campus organizations, sponsors, and local vendors, Hatter Village will begin four hours prior to every Stetson home football game.
It will be located on Alabama Ave., west of Spec Martin Stadium, in between Euclid Ave. and Hubbard Ave. Hatter Village is designed to promote Stetson University and create interactive activities for all Hatter fans.
“This is the kind of place everybody – young child to college student to alumni – can participate and feel like they’ve taken something away from the Stetson Football experience,” Stetson Assistant AD for External Operations Jeff Higgins said.
Hatter Village will also be the site of the Hatter Walk, the route that the Stetson Football team will take to the stadium approximately two hours and 15 minutes before game time. The squad will walk from the bus (Alabama/Euclid) to their locker room (Alabama/Hubbard), which will give fans a chance to see the team prior to kickoff.
