Stetson Head Coach Pete Dunn is proud to announce the signing of five student/athletes for the 2009 freshman class.
“We are very excited about this group of young men and feel that all of them have the ability to be impact players as freshman,” said Dunn. “We have always been committed to bringing in great high school players and giving them the opportunity to play right away. This philosophy certainly holds true with this group!”
The early signees are all from Florida and come from very successful high school programs.
“We believe in recruiting players that are not only highly skilled, but who know what winning is all about and have an understanding of the team concept,” said Dunn. “This class addresses our needs from a position standpoint and is made up of individuals who represent the competitive spirit and winning tradition that is synonymous with Stetson University Baseball.”
