DELAND, FL. - The Stetson Rowing Team will be traveling this weekend to Sarasota, Florida for the Florida State Championships at Nathan Benderson Park. They will be taking on in state powers such as University of Florida, Jacksonville University, and Florida State University. They will also be taking on out-of-state rival Georgia Tech.  Heats start tomorrow at 4pm with finals beginning Saturday morning and lasting into the afternoon.

Nathan Benderson Park, a rower's paradise, is an elite training ground for athletes from around the world and is a premier rowing destination in the United States.  The park has hosted the FIRA State Championships since 2009 and is being considered to host the 2017 World Championships.
