A native of North Brookfield, Massachusetts, Chelsea Staney is in her first year practicing as an Athletic Trainer and has taken the position of Intern at Stetson University. She is currently working with the Women's Lacrosse team.

Staney graduated Magna Cum Laude from Springfield College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While at Springfield, Staney worked with Wrestling, Track & Field, Men's Lacrosse, and Women's Basketball. Additionally, she was an active member of the Springfield College AmeriCorps Program and spent much of her free time serving the youth of Springfield.

Staney is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association and is a Licensed Athletic Trainer in Florida. She is also a certified EMT-B in the state of Massachusetts.
