The Stetson volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Jacksonville in an Atlantic Sun Conference match Tuesday night at Swisher Gym. The Dolphins (5-20, 3-9 A-Sun) won by scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-17.
Freshman Cailyn Prewitt led the Hatters (4-25, 0-12 A-Sun) with five kills and three blocks. Monique Russell picked up nine digs, Kelli Carneal tallied nine assists and five digs, and Taylor Johnson recorded three blocks (one solo, two assists). Morgan Pautsch hit .333 (4-1-9). Sammie Strausbaugh had 13 kills to lead the Dolphins, who hit .276 for the match. The Hatters hit just .031 overall. Stetson will visit Florida Gulf Coast at 4 p.m. on Saturday. |
