Danielle Biaso begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Stetson indoor volleyball team and second year as director of operations for the sand volleyball team.

For the past five years, Biaso has actively competed in sand, indoor, women’s and co-ed AA/Open level competition.

Biaso is well-versed in coaching both sand and indoor.  As a co-director for Club V, from 2009-2010 in Largo, Florida, she organized and competed in sand tournaments and leagues. She has coached all ages in sand, running her own private lessons since the summer of 2010. She also trained and coached alongside Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) beach professionals in 2010. For the past four summers, she has coached various camps, weekly training sessions, and skill-specific clinics in the sand.

Biaso has also coached four indoor club teams, and is currently the head coach of the Power Volleyball Academy (DeLand) 15U national team. She is part of the administrative efforts for PVA, hoping to continue grow the program and further intends to spread competitive volleyball in Volusia County.

Biaso earned her Bachelor’s degree from USF in both Psychology and Women & Gender studies while competing in the Tampa Bay area. She was also the key organizer of adult play in the Tampa Bay area and is now making a difference for the youth and adults in Volusia County.
