Yi Ching Chen
Position: Volunteer Assistant Coach
Alma Mater: Embry-Riddle, 2012

Yi Ching (Joyce) Chen begins her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Stetson women's tennis team in 2013-14.

Chen played tennis at Embry-Riddle, where she is the all-time career wins leader in both singles and doubles play.  In 2010 she won the USTA ITA Small College Women's Doubles National Championship and was the Runner-Up in the Singles National Championship.

With numerous other athletic achievements while at Embry-Riddle, Chen also earned academic honors during her career, including the Embry-Riddle Champion of Character Scholarship, NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete, and Capital One Academic All-America.

Chen has recent experience as a member of The Tennis Team out of Orlando.  She worked as a marketing manager assistant and a sparring partner from Nov. of 2012 to Oct. of 2013.  While at Embry-Riddle Chen worked as a teacher's assistant.

Chen graduated from Embry-Riddle with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in May of 2012.
