Winners of two straight and four of the last five games, the Stetson women's basketball team travels to Tampa, Fla. to face the USF Bulls at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Sun Dome.

Fans can listen to the game live on WSBB, AM1230 New Smyrna Beach, AM1490 DeLand, or on line at

The Hatters (5-3) enter the game on an offensive tear, having scored a combined 194 points over the last two games. Six different players scored in double figures in Stetson's 93-48 win over Palm Beach Atlantic Thursday, including freshman Amber Porter who scored 23 points for the second straight game.

"I think our focus has really helped," senior Sasha Sims said. "I don't think we are doing anything different as far as what we are running, we are just playing at a higher level, and that is how it should be as the season goes on."

Sims, who led the team in scoring in each of the team's first six games this season, has benefited from reduced minutes over the last two contests while watching her teammates continue to light up the scoreboard.

"I am excited for what we are doing as a team," Sims said. "However we can get a win, it doesn't matter who is scoring, as long as we get a 'W', we are all happy. It is even better when you can have five-plus players in double digits scoring every game."

USF enters the game with a 4-3 record after falling 60-55 at Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday. The Bulls have won seven straight meetings in the series with the Hatters, including last year's 70-48 win in Tampa.

"They are a really good team," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said. "They came off a great year last year and have just about everyone back. We have to take care of the ball and we have to rebound the ball. They are a very good rebounding team, so we are going to have to go the glass extremely hard on both ends of the court.  If we can do those two things, I think we will have a chance."

Live video will also be available on a subscription basis as ($10.95). Live stats, Hat-Alerts, and the Stetson women's basketball twitter feed will provide in-game updates as well.
