Location: Melching Field at Conrad Park, DeLand, FL
Monday, July 13, 2015, to Thursday, July 16, 2015
Starts: 9 am / Ends: 3 pm

Camp Cost: $225

Camp Description

This session is open to players between the ages of 8 and 13 who wish to attend on a "day" basis only. The content of the camp is designed to build and strengthen the basic fundamentals of the game.

The camp staff is committed to the principal that before a player's baseball potential can be met he or she must have mastered the fundamentals of correct throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, bunting, baserunning and a positive mental attitude and approach to the game.

Each session is designed to give the players individual instruction in all phases of the game. The camp staff is composed of Stetson University baseball coaches and players. The drills and techniques taught at the camp are the same that are used by the Stetson baseball team. These techniques have a proven record of success.

Coach Dunn has assembled an outstanding professional staff of experienced coaches known for their ability to teach the fundamentals of baseball. Since this camp has limited enrollment, the very low instructor-camper ratio will enable the camper to enjoy much individual teaching.

The camps are for the serious player and require discipline on and off the field. In order to achieve quality instruction, camp staff will strictly enforce proper behavior and curfew. Improper behavior will result in disciplinary action, which could include being sent home prior to the end of the session.
