Griffin, a 5'10" left handed pitcher is going into his senior season at Naples High School in Naples, Florida. He is a hard thrower who features a fastball in the high 80's and a hard breaking ball. Griffin picked up the save in the 2009 state championship game going 2 1/3 innings allowing no runs vs. Bishop Moore High School. His team finished the season 33-1 and ranked 6th nationally by Baseball America.
"Cameron has the ability to be a starter, or a reliever", said Dunn. "In addition he is a great student with a 4.1 GPA."
Cheneler, a 5'11" left handed pitcher is headed into his senior season at Master's Academy in Oviedo, Florida. In 2007 he helped lead his team to the regional finals and in 2008 his team finished as undefeated district champions. In 2009 he was selected to the Louisville Slugger High School All-American Team after posting a 0.98 ERA. In the past three seasons he has accumulated 139 strike outs in 101 2/3 innings pitched. At the plate he hit .412 as a freshman, .395 as a sophomore, and .552 as a junior.
"Lee is an accomplished left handed pitcher, we are excited to have him join our team", said Dunn. "He is a great student and we look for him to give us quality innings on the mound as a freshman."
