Bristol, Tenn. - The Stetson women's tennis team (8-2, 2-1 Atlantic Sun) suffered its first loss in the month of March and had its six-match winning streak snapped in a 6-1 loss at A-Sun rival ETSU (5-7, 2-1 A-Sun) Friday evening at the Bristol Racquet Club.

Rain forced the match to be moved from ETSU's campus in Johnson City to nearby Bristol, a 22-minute drive that delayed the match's start until 4:30 pm. The Lady Bucs won all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches; only sophomore Diana Bukajeva (Riga, Latvia), the reigning A-Sun Player of the Week, managed a victory as she defeated Karina Kedzo 6-2, 7-6 on Court 4.

The Hatters conclude their A-Sun road trip tomorrow when they take on USC Upstate at 2:00 pm in Spartanburg, S.C.
