The Stetson women's tennis team has added Andrea Crespo de la Concepción to its incoming class for 2012-13, Director of Tennis Pierre Pilote announced.  Crespo, a native of Valencia, Spain, signed a National Letter of Intent on Friday afternoon.

Crespo has been ranked as high as 99^th, with two wins over opponents ranked 84^th or better, and another ranked 117^th, since the start of 2011.  She joins Eveline Lepinay (Quebec City, Quebec) and Alexandra Lyubimova (Miami, Fla.) as a part of the Hatters incoming class for 2012-13.

"The addition of a player at Andrea's level to our already very strong squad is the icing on the cake," Pilote said.  "We are returning everyone except our number two player from last year's team that was one tie-breaker away from defeating the eventual conference champion UNF."

"Adding three quality players to our roster, in Andrea, Alexandra, and Eveline, will only help us improve this season," Pilote continued.  "From top to bottom, this team may be the deepest group in program history."
