DETROIT, Mich. - Former Stetson Hatter Corey Kluber led the Cleveland Indians to a 3-2 win over the Detroit Tigers on Labor Day, giving the right-hander his first major league victory on the mound.

Kluber, who made his first start with the Indians this season on August 2, allowed just two runs on six hits in six innings pitched on Monday.  The former Stetson pitcher struck out four batters, walked only one, and retired the last eight batters he faced.

The Indians won the game by a score of 3-2 thanks to Kluber's start, three solid innings of relief, and a two-hit, two-RBI day at the plate from Asdrubal Cabrera.  The shortstop's sacrifice fly to center field drove in the game-winning run for Cleveland.

Kluber is now 1-3 on the season with 30 strikeouts and 10 walks.  He holds an ERA of 4.79 in seven starts over 35.2 innings.  The Indians play at Detroit again tonight and Wednesday before beginning a four game series at Minnesota on Friday.
