The Stetson women’s basketball team tied a school record with its 10th consecutive victory Saturday, defeating Lipscomb 92-51 in an Atlantic Sun Conference game at the Edmunds Center.
The Hatters (14-4, 7-0 Atlantic Sun) also won their 13th home game in a row, setting a new school record for longest home winning streak. Stetson is now 25-1 in its last 26 home games dating back to 2011.

"I thought overall we played very well," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said. "Defensively we did a great job guarding, and offensively we shared the ball well. I thought we executed very well on both ends today."
Lipscomb (2-14, 1-5 A-Sun) hit 12 three pointers in the game including seven in the first half.
"In the first half I thought we gave Lipscomb a lot of wide open looks," Bria said. "In the second half we did a lot better job of containing them."
The Hatters led by as many as 30 in the first half before settling for a 50-26 halftime lead. Sims was a perfect 7-for-7 in the first half, including 4-for-4 from behind the arc, for 18 points.
"I've always said Sasha is our most versatile player," Bria said. "When she wants to, she can create any shot for herself or for a teammate. She is just great to have on the team."
For the game the Hatters shot 55% from the floor and 46% from behind the arc.
Stetson led wire-to-wire for the fourth straight time at home. In fact, Stetson has not trailed at home since an early 2-0 advantage by Georgia Southern on Dec. 18, a span of 198 minutes and 24 seconds.
The Hatters will look break the school win streak record on Monday night when they host conference newcomer Northern Kentucky at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on HatterVision and WSBB.
