Stetson University women's basketball senior guard Victoria McGowan (Inkster, Mich.) has been named a Mid-Major Honorable Mention All-American by

McGowan averaged team-high 15.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while helping lead Stetson (24-9) to the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship and its third NCAA Championship appearance in 2013. She also led the squad in assists (135), steals (65), and three-point field goals (70), and earned first-team all-conference honors for the second straight season.

McGowan recorded Stetson’s first-ever double-double in an NCAA tournament game, recording 14 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in Stetson’s first-round contest vs. UCLA. She scored in double figures 29 times during her senior season and 86 times during her career.

A Sports Management major, McGowan finished her career second all-time in school history with 1532 points scored. She also ranked among the school all-time leaders in three-point field goals (second), assists (fourth), steals (fifth), and free throw percentage (third).

The Hatters set a school-record with 24 victories in 2013.
