DELAND, Fla. – The Stetson University lacrosse team will travel to Detroit this weekend to take on the Detroit University Titans in Atlantic Sun Conference Action.

The Hatters (1-13, 1-1) are in a stretch of five straight conference games to close out the season and their meeting with the Titans marks the third of those five and just the second A-Sun road game this season.

Most recently Stetson dropped its A-Sun home opener with Jacksonville, last weekend for its first conference loss of the season. Goal keeper Caili Guilday had another 14 saves in the contest, to push her nation leading total to 163. She also is tops in Division I in saves per game average with 11.64.

Saturday will mark the first time the Hatters and Titans have met up in the Motor City as the two played in DeLand last season, with the Titans coming out on top by a 19-9 score. This year Stetson will be looking for revenge and for its second conference win of the year, a total it reached in 2013.

Game time between Detroit and Stetson is set for 12 p.m. Live Stats are available via the Titans official athletic website,

The @StetsonLacrosse Twitter feed and Hat-Alerts, the athletic department’s official text messaging system are also available for in-game updates as well.
