The Hatter Club

Mission Statement

It is the mission of THE HATTER CLUB to help raise money and secure resources for scholarships, along with capital and general funds, to support all of the men's and women's NCAA Division I intercollegiate teams at Stetson University. The Hatter Club brings together like minded individuals with the hallmark of passion for Stetson Athletics at its core.

Moreover, its secondary purpose is to strengthen relationships between Stetson University and the far-reaching community of alumnae, athletes and coaches, faculty and staff, business owners, friends, and neighbors through exciting sporting events, functions, and ceremonies throughout the academic year.

To achieve success on the field and in the classroom requires only the best prepared and most accomplished student-athletes and your generous support will make all of this possible.

Your gift will play a major role in the future growth and development of Stetson's athletic programs. Help us assure that Stetson Athletics will attract only the highest quality young people to carry on the Stetson tradition of excellence, both now and in the future.

Athletic Director's Message

The purpose of the Athletic Department is to offer our student-athletes the chance to excel in life. Our challenge is to provide the necessary resources to our coaches and student-athletes to achieve this goal. The cost is high. With the hard work of our staff and the generosity of our supporters the goal is attainable. Working together we can and must succeed in our efforts.

In this regard, we need your help. As a private institution we must go it alone. We have been successful in the past, and with your help we will be successful in the future. As you consider committing to help us, I want you to know that the price of excellence is escalating.  We need your assistance now more than ever. With everyone's help, we will be able to provide our teams and student-athletes with the opportunity to excel that they so highly deserve.

Sincerely,
Jeffrey P. Altier
Director of Athletics
