Fernandina Beach, Fla. – Led by a strong finish from senior Ryan Ashburn, the Stetson University women’s golf team held on to tie with Xavier for eighth place in the JU Amelia Island Collegiate on Tuesday.

Only KSU (299) and North Florida (296) were able to break 300 on Tuesday after Monday produced 13 team scores of less than 300.

Daytona State (890) finished third as a team, followed by Jacksonville (894) and Winthrop (895). James Madison (904) and UNF (910) finished in front of the Hatters and Musketeers, as both team finished with scores of 914.
