Jacksonville, Fla. -- Despite leading 5-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Stetson had its regular season finale canceled due to weather Thursday afternoon at the UNF Softball Complex.

Since the game did not complete the mandatory five innings to be official, it is considered a no-contest and none of the statistics will count.

Finishing just 1/2 game out of second place, the Hatters (34-12) will be the No. 3 seed for next week's Atlantic Sun Tournament and will face No. 6 seed Florida Gulf Coast in the opening round on Wednesday, May 7, in Nashville, Tenn.  First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.

The Stetson-FGCU winner will advance to play No. 2 seed Lipscomb on May 8 at 11 a.m. ET.  The winner of the Atlantic Sun Championship will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
