The Stetson sand volleyball team dropped a 4-1 decision to top-seed UNF in the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship winner's bracket semifinals Sunday morning in Jacksonville.

The Hatters (12-10) will now face the Jacksonville/Florida Gulf Coast winner at 1 p.m. in the loser's bracket semifinals, with the winner advancing to the championship match at 3 p.m. vs. UNF.

"We played hard and put up a tremendous fight, but we came up just a little short," Stetson head coach Tim Loesch said. "It came down to the last two matches and both were decided by just a few points in the third set."

Catherine Coston and Alisha Hoffman picked up Stetson's lone point, winning 2-1 (21-14, 19-21, 17-15) at the no. 4 seed.
