2015 Roger Hughes' Hatter Prospect Camp Registration

Camp Information

Fall 2014 Grades 9th through 12th

Camp Objective: Our prospect camp is designed to maximize your potential as a football player. Great football play starts with attention to fundamentals. Our football staff will enhance your positional fundamental skills while emphasizing latest techniques to ensure a safe and successful football season in 2014. In addition, coaches will connect the benefit of discpline and proper attitude while encouraging mental learning and physical effort. Each camper will leave our camp a better player with the knowledge of how to continue improving everyday.

Location: Each practice will be held at Spec Martin Stadium, the game field of the Stetson Hatters, which is located at the corner of Amelia and Hubbard. Check-in will be front of Spec Martin Stadium which can be accessed at 260 East Euclid Avenue, Deland FL 32724. Additional directions can be provided by calling 386-822-7134 or e-mailing football@stetson.edu.

Cost: The $50 price is good for all campers!

  • Camp dates TBA
  • For camp attire, cleated football shoes are recommended on the grass field. Wear a T-shirt and shorts or sweats
  • This camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender

  • Each session is limited to 200 pre-registered campers.
  • Walk-up campers will be accepted on a first come, first accepted basis.
  • Each camper only needs to register for 1 of the sessions

Several Hatter football players will be available to meet and talk to you throughout the camp. Take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions on what it takes to be a successful student-athlete.Football and academics can be done together, and our players serve as an example.

Individual Football Camp

DATES: TBA. Open to players in Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.

OBJECTIVE: Our individual Football Camp is designed to maximize your potential as a football player while providing you the platform to showcase your talents to our staff and others who will work our camp.  GREAT FOOTBALL PLAY STARTS WITH ATTENTION TO FUNDAMENTALS.  Our football staff will enhance your positional fundamental skills while emphasizing latest techniques to ensure a safe and successful football season in 2014.  In addition, coaches will connect the benefit of discipline and proper attitude while encouraging mental learning and physical effort.  Each camper will leave our camp a better player with the knowledge of how to continue improving everyday.

LOCATION: Each practice will be held at the Stetson University Athletics Training Center on the campus of Stetson University located at the corner of Amelia and Minnesota .  Check-in will be in the atrium of Athletics Training Center which can be accessed at 401 E Minnesota Ave, Deland FL 32723.  Additional directions can be provided by calling (386) 822-7134 or e-mailing football@stetson.edu.

COST: The $330.00 price is good for all overnight campers.  If you can only attend for 1 day, the cost is $110 per individual day you plan to attend.  Saturday is the best day as we will practice 3 times.  Register early - Space is limited! If 3 or more players from the same team are attending for all three days, we will give you a discount of $30 per camper. (Discount doesn’t apply to single day campers).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Camp check in will begin at 11:00 am on Friday for each camp.  Camps will end by 11:00 am on Sunday.  Our first team meeting will start Friday at 2:00 pm with our first practice soon after.  The first meal will be served at approximately 5:30 pm on Friday. For camp attire, cleated football shoes are recommended on the grass field, bring your HELMET & SHOULDER PADS for individual work.  Stetson Football will not be able to provide you with any equipment.  Wear a T-shirt and shorts or sweats.  This camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.  You may also use the registration form online by visiting the Stetson Football page at www.gohatters.com or by visiting the Stetson Football Facebook Page. You will be able to meet and talk with several Hatter football players throughout the camp.  Take advantage of this opportunity to learn exactly what it takes to be a successful collegiate student-athlete.  Our players epitomize the definition of the student-athlete and will serve as outstanding examples of how to excel at both athletics and academics at the college level. 

Youth Football Camp

DATES: TBA. Open to players in Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8.

OBJETIVE: Our Youth Football Camp is designed to maximize your potential as a football player. Great football play starts with attention to fundamentals. The Hatter football staff will develop your fundamental skills at each position on the football field. Emphasis will be placed on the latest technique to ensure a safe and successful football season in 2014. In addition, coaches will connect the benefit of discipline and proper attitude while encouraging mental learning and physical effort. Each camper will leave our camp with the knowledge of how to get better everyday.

LOCATION: Each practice will be held at the Stetson University Athletics Training Center on the campus of Stetson University located at the corner of Amelia and Minnesota .  Check-in will be in the atrium of Athletics Training Center which can be accessed at 401 E Minnesota Ave, Deland FL 32723.  Additional directions can be provided by calling (386) 822-7134 or e-mailing football@stetson.edu.

COST: The $80.00 price is good for all campers. If two or more players from the same family are attending for both days, we will give you a discount of $10 per camper. You can register online on the football page at www.GoHatters.com. Walkups are also welcome.
