DeLand, Fla. - The Stetson men's tennis team fell to 10-4 on the season with a 6-1 setback at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center to visiting Eastern Kentucky (9-3).  The Hatters won all three doubles matches but had no answer in singles for the Colonels, who took all six of those points to run away with the victory.

Winning doubles teams for the Hatters were Didrik Berg (Oslo, Norway)/Cesare Gallo (Portogruaro, Italy), Njal Stene (Oslo, Norway)/Chris Swanteson (Vaxjo, Sweden) and Alex Hackett (Surrey, England)/Hans Adrian Riseng (Oslo, Norway).  Five of the six singles matches went to EKU in straight sets with sophomore Erik Halaj (Hoover, Ala.) narrowly falling in a third-set tiebreaker on Court 6.

Stetson is back in action Friday when it begins a two-match A-Sun road swing through Georgia with a 10 a.m. first serve at Mercer.  The Hatters-Bears women's match will follow at 2 p.m.
