Through five contests in 2013, Stetson head coach T. Logan Fleck has used 13 new players, eight of which have made appearances in the Hatters’ starting lineup. Senior Chase Rodgers has started all five matches, while freshmen Gianluca Carbone and Sebastian Contreras have played in and started four out of give for the Hatters.

Tickets for Wednesday’s game at the UCF Soccer Complex are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Call (407) UCF-1000 for more information.

• The Hatters have scored five goals in 2013, each recorded by a different player; senior Evan Jimmo, freshman Gianluca Carbone, senior Chase Rodgers, senior JJ Bostic, and junior Dwight Lodge.

• Senior Andreas Schnabl’s shutout against UMass Lowell was the 13th of his career, which is a school record.

• Schnabl also currently tops the Stetson record books with a career goals-against-average of 1.26.

• Schnabl’s eight saves against Grand Canyon tied a career best (Also 8 at FIU on 9/9/11). It tied for the most since Logan Potter’s 13 vs. Lipscomb on 10/9/09.

• 13 new players have seen action this season, and eight have started. Moreover, nine freshmen have appeared in matches in 2013, and four have been in the starting lineup.

• A similarly young UCF squad welcomes Stetson to Orlando with a 1-2-2 overall record. The Knights’ lone win came against FIU, and their two losses were to North Florida and Old Dominion.

• The all-time series between Stetson and UCF dates back to 1972 and is comprised of 44 meetings. The Knights hold a 31-10-3 advantage.

• Last season the Hatters and the Knights tied 0-0 as Schnabl became the all-time leader for shutouts in Stetson history.
