The Stetson University Baseball program will hold a series of four camps this summer.

The Pete Dunn Baseball Camps are designed to give players individual instruction in all phases of the game. All sessions are designed to build and strengthen the camper's basic fundamentals of baseball. The drills and techniques taught at the camp are the same used by the Stetson baseball team.

The first camp is scheduled for July 8-11 at the Sperling Sports Complex. The Pete Dunn Teaching Day Camp is for players age 8-13 and will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. The cost for this camp is $180 per camper.

The Super Skills Hitting Camp will be held from July 15-18 at Melching Field and will run from 9 a.m. until noon each day. The camp is open to players age 8-18 and will focus on the fundamentals of hitting. The cost is $160 per camper.

Th Super Skills Pitching/Defense Camp will be held concurrently with the Hitting Camp, July 15-18. Also open to players age 8-18, the camp will provide instruction in all phases of pitching or defense. The cost is $160 per camper.

Players interested in attending both Super Skills Camp sessions over the four day period can do so at a reduced rate of just $300 per camper.

The final session of the 2013 Pete Dunn Baseball Camps will be held August 8-10 at Melching Field. The Hatter Baseball Mid Florida Showcase is limited to players entering the ninth through 12th grades and is also limited to the first 72 players to register.

The Showcase Camp is designed to provide advancement in each players’ game with the teaching of specific baseball skills. Players will get to work with highly qualified coaches and will receive exposure to coaches from colleges and universities from across the state and region.

The cost of the Showcase Camp is $250 per player.

The Pete Dunn Baseball Camps and prospect events are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level. Each camp is hosted by the college coaching staff at the Stetson University.
