Women's Soccer Announces Spring ID Camp for May

Stetson women’s soccer head coach Manoj Khettry announced the date for a Prospect Identification Camp to be hosted by the Hatters women’s soccer program on Tuesday.  The ID Camp is scheduled for (UPDATE: Saturday, May 11), and will be held on the fields at the Stetson University Athletic Training Center.

The camp is for current high school aged players (13-19) looking to become Stetson Hatters or to continue their development as a player. The Stetson Prospect ID Camp will expose players to the standards and style of coaching, as well as expectations of players at Stetson.

Players will be evaluated by the Stetson coaching staff, which includes Head Coach Manoj Khettry and other Stetson soccer coaches. The Prospect ID Camp will center on becoming technically cleaner, playing and keeping possession in tight spaces, small-sided games, as well as a Power-Point presentation geared to educate players (and family members) on what it takes to be a college soccer player.

The camp is intended for players with a high level of interest in playing at the NCAA Division I level and Stetson University.

During the clinic players will have the opportunity to tour the new Athletic Training Center and play on the brand new fields.


9:00 a.m. Registration and check-in at the soccer field
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Technical Session/Possession Games
11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Lunch provided
12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Free time
1:00 p.m. Power-point presentation about college soccer
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Small-Sided Games (1v1-4v4)
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (7v7-11v11) based on numbers

Stetson University camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). For this prospect ID camp, only 60 field players and eight goalkeepers will be accepted.
