After signing two high school state champions in the fall, Stetson volleyball head coach Tim Loesch has inked two more state champions to National Letters-of-Intent, while also adding a quality libero to the program.

Danika Yoder (Venice, Fla.) of Florida Class 7A Champion Venice High School and Tiffany Creamer (Newnan, Ga.) of Georgia Class A Champion Landmark Christian High School will join the Hatters for the 2013 season. Abby Boll (Jacksonville, Fla.) a product of Bishop Kenny High School, has also committed to Stetson.

“It is exciting to add these three talented young women to our roster,” Loesch said. “They have accomplished much during their high school and club careers, and I have no doubt they will do the same for Stetson.”

Yoder, a 5-7 setter, helped lead Venice to a 29-3 record and the 7A state title this past fall. She had 47 assists and 19 digs in the state semifinal victory over Buchholz and 36 assists and 10 digs in the championship match vs. St. Thomas Aquinas.

Yoder was named third-team All-State and an HTPreps all-area performer for the Indians, who finished the season with 14 consecutive wins. Venice also won four district championships and two regional titles during Yoder’s four years.

“Danika is a very determined, intelligent competitor that makes those around her better,” Loesch said. “She has fast feet and accurate hands, which are two vital attributes for setters. However, even more important is her will to win, which drives her to succeed and is contagious.”

Creamer, a 6-2 outside hitter, was an All-American for Landmark Christian in 2012. She led the entire state of Georgia (all classifications) with 679 kills and 167 aces. She also recorded 491 digs and 82 blocks to help lead the Lady War Eagles to a 41-14 record and the Georgia Class A Championship.

Creamer was also named to the GHSA All-State team and was selected as the Area 3A Player of the Year. She was a two-time first-team all-area honoree and her team’s MVP for three consecutive years.

“Tiffany’s great work ethic has fueled constant improvement in all aspects of her game in recent years,” Loesch said. “Helping her reach her potential as an aggressive outside attacker, consistent serve-receiver and solid defender will be a lot of fun. Tiffany is a selfless team-player that inspires others to do their best during practice and games.”

Boll, a 5-3 libero, recorded 379 digs, 48 assists, and 20 aces for Bishop Kenny (23-8) in 2012. She helped lead the Crusaders to a district and regional championship and an appearance in the Florida Class 5A State Final Four. Boll has also competed in Track and Field since her sophomore year.

“Abby’s experience and diverse skills allows her to contribute in many ways,” Loesch said. “She is a consistent passer, a tricky server, an acrobatic digger, and she can help set if needed. She plays with a passion that teammates love to be around and is a joy to watch.

“They are dynamic athletes, smart students, team leaders and proven winners,” Loesch added about all three student-athletes. “They will fit in well with the team culture we are building here.”

Each of Yoder, Creamer and Boll’s respective club teams recently qualified for USA Volleyball Junior National Championship tournament. They join earlier signees Madison Akins (Brooks, Ga. / Whitewater HS), who is a club volleyball teammate of Creamer, and McKenna Foster (Ocala, Fla. / Vanguard HS).
