For the third time this season, Stetson University volleyball outside hitter Tiffany Creamer (Newnan, Ga.) has been named the Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Creamer recorded 35 kills, 16 digs, and seven blocks to help lead the Hatters (17-12, 8-6 A-Sun) to a 1-1 week in A-Sun competition.
On Friday, Creamer led the team with 13 kills and a .387 attack percentage in the Hatters' 3-1 win over USC Upstate. She also recorded six of the team's season-high 15 blocks against the Spartans.
On Saturday, she recorded a career-best 22 kills while adding nine digs and five assists as Stetson took A-Sun leader ETSU the distance before falling 3-2. For the week she hit at a .378 clip, committing just four attack errors over 82 attempts.
For the season, Creamer is averaging 2.79 kills per set, second among A-Sun freshmen, and she maintains a .255 attack percentage. She has helped lead Stetson to its highest season win total since 1996 (17), and its most A-Sun wins ever (8).
Creamer was also named the league's Freshman of the Week on Sept. 23 and Sept. 30.
The Hatters will visit UNF at 6 p.m. Tuesday night.
