Katie DiGirolamo will be the Atlantic Sun Conference representative to NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) starting in 2012-13.

2012 (sand): Atlantic Sun Scholar-Athlete of the Year...Academic All-Conference Team...A-Sun All-Tournament Team...recorded 16-14 overall record to tie for second in wins among Hatters...one of three players to record winning individual record...paired with Stephanie Marin to earn a spot on the inaugural A-Sun All-Tournament Team by going 4-0 in dual match play...9-5 when paired with Marin and 7-9 with Alisha Hoffman.

2011 (indoor): Played in 20 matches with four starts as a sophomore...finished the year with 28 kills and 24 digs...season-high five kills Sept. 4 vs. Marshall; five digs the day prior vs. Eastern Michigan...four kills in Sept. 10 win over Savannah State.

2010: Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...played in 25 matches with 13 starts...primarily played right side...tallied 85 kills (1.05 kills per set), 21 assists, nine aces and 174 digs...13-dig, 12-kill double-double vs. Wofford (Sept. 4)...career-high 22 digs vs. Mercer (Oct. 15)...11 kills vs. USC Upstate (Sept. 17)...10 kills in win over Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 3)...12 digs and eight kills vs. USC Upstate (Sept. 16)...11 digs at Campbell (Oct. 9)...10 digs in matches vs. Wyoming (Sept. 4) and Northern Illinois (Sept. 11).

High School: Attended Southeast HS in Bradenton...tallied 254 kills, 94 digs, 50 aces and 28 blocks in her final season for the Seminoles and Coach Vince Strefling...All-Manatee County honoree...named to Sarasota Herald-Tribune All-Area Team...also played on Suncoast Volleyball club team for Strefling...International Baccalaureate Student..."Gold Feather" recipient in lieu of valedictorian honors...played one year of softball.
