After giving up an opening three-pointer to Bishop, Stetson scored the game’s next nine points to assume early control. The Hatters hit their first seven free throw attempts to help them maintain a two-possession lead for much of the first half.
Bishop hit another trey with about four and a half minutes left to whittle Stetson’s lead to 24-21, but the Hatters would respond.
