DeLand, Fla. - Four members of Head Coach Derek Waugh's Stetson men's basketball team have been named to the 2009-10 Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team.  Freshman center Liam McInerney (Victoria, Australia), junior center Graeme Radford (Victoria, Australia), redshirt freshman guard J.R. Weston (Morral, Ohio) and senior guard Brandon Williams (Miami, Fla.) all brought their "A" game to the classroom as well as the basketball court.

McInerney played in 28 games as a freshman, starting nine and averaging 3.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game with 12 assists, nine blocked shots and eight steals.  His 49.3 field goal percentage led the Hatters.  Radford made 16 starts at center and appeared in 12 other games as a reserve, contributing 1.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest with a team-high 24 blocks.

Weston came off the bench in 21 games with one start, scoring 2.3 points per game with eight three-pointers while Williams played in all 29 games with 17 starts in the backcourt.  He averaged 5.7 points per game and dished out a team-leading 78 assists with 24 steals.  In the January 2 game at Lipscomb, Williams set a career high with 22 points on 6-9 three-point shooting; he recorded seven assists in the December 29 win over Florida Gulf Coast at the Edmunds Center as well as on February 18 against Belmont.

Radford earned All-Academic honors from the league for the third straight year while Weston made it back-to-back seasons on the All-Academic Team.  Coach Waugh has had 42 of his student-athletes named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team in his 10 seasons with the Hatters.
