DeLand, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference office has announced that Stetson senior guard Garfield Blair has been voted to the All-Atlantic Sun Conference Second Team. It is the second consecutive season that the Orlando, Florida native has earned second team all-conference honors.
Blair finished the regular-season ranked fourth in the A-Sun in scoring at 17.5 points per game, as well as rebounding with 7.9 boards per game. He is also fourth in defensive rebounds (5.79), tenth in offensive rebounds (2.14), ninth in minutes played (33.14), eleventh in 3-point field goal percentage (.368), thirteenth in blocked shots (0.62), and fifteenth in free throw percentage (.715).
Blair is the only Hatter to start all 29 games this season. He picked up seven double-doubles and scored in double digits in 26 times.
With at least one more game to play in the A-Sun tournament, Blair is #4 all-time at Stetson in scoring with 1,572 points and eleventh in rebounding with a total of 674. He is just five boards away from the 10th spot. He is also fourth in Stetson history in free throws with 397 and free throw attempts with 544.
