(DeLand, Fla.) – The Stetson University men’s basketball team looks for their 300th all-time win at the Edmunds Center Friday night at 7:30 p.m. against Mercer.  The Hatters have won nearly 67% of their games in the 33 years the arena has served as Stetson’s home gymnasium.

Since the Hatters first season in the Edmunds Center, 1974-75, Stetson has had only one losing season.  The Hatters were a stunning 16-0 in the arena’s inaugural season and won their first 20 games at the Edmunds Center.

This year Stetson is 4-3 at home, including key conference wins over Kennesaw State and Campbell.  The team also hosted Florida State in a regionally televised game in which a near-sellout crowd of 4,652 passed through the gates.

Friday night’s game will be regionally televised on Comcast Sports South for the Atlantic Sun Conference Game of the Week.
