With trips to Lipscomb and Northern Kentucky on the horizon, the Stetson women’s soccer team is set to play its first Atlantic Sun Conference weekend away from home this Friday and Sunday.

The Hatters (3-6-1, 1-1-0) opened up A-Sun play this past weekend, hosting North Florida and Jacksonville. After topping the Ospreys 1-0 on a first half goal by senior Kait Jones on Friday, Stetson fell to Jacksonville 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to split the weekend.

Stetson will play at Lipscomb (4-5-2, 1-1-0) on Friday at 8:00 p.m. The Bisons began conference action on the road, losing to Kennesaw State by a score of 2-1 last Friday. Lipscomb picked up its first A-Sun win in defeating Mercer in Macon on Sunday, also 2-1.

On Sunday the Hatters will travel to Northern Kentucky (4-6-1, 0-2-0) to challenge the Norse at 12:00 p.m. NKU dropped both of its contests last weekend, falling to 1-3 and dropping its game at Kennesaw State 2-0. The Norse, currently on a three-match losing streak, will host FGCU on Friday.

Friday’s match at Lipscomb will be available to watch for free on ASun.TV. Fans can keep up with the action of both contests this weekend with Live Stats; available at and
