The Stetson University women's soccer program will host a Prospect Identification Camp on Sunday, March 9 for current high school aged players (13-19) looking to become Stetson Hatters or to continue their development as a player.
The prospect ID Camp will expose campers to the standards and style of coaching and expectations at Stetson University.
Location: Stetson University Athletic Training Center
Cost: $125.00 (Includes t-shirt, lunch, and a written evaluation to be mailed following camp)
9:00 a.m. - Registration and check-in at the soccer field
9:30–9:45 a.m. - Introduction of Staff/Goals for the Day
9:45-12:00 p.m. - Technical Session/Patterns/Possession Games
12:00-1:00 p.m. - Lunch provided/Free Time
1:00 p.m. - Power-Point Presentation/Panel Discussion with Current Players
2:00-3:00 p.m. - Small-Sided Games (1v1-4v4)
3:00-4:00 p.m. - (7v7-11v11 games) based on numbers
Players will be evaluated by the Stetson coaching staff, including head coach Manoj Khettry and assistant coach Stephanie Demake. The Prospect Identification Camp will center on becoming technically cleaner, playing and keeping possession in tight spaces, small-sided games, as well as a Power-Point presentation geared to educate players (and family members) about what it takes to be a college soccer player.
This camp is intended for players with a high level of interest in playing at the NCAA Division 1 level and Stetson University.
Note: Stetson University camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
For this prospect ID, there will be only 60 field players and 8 goalkeepers accepted.
