MACON, Ga. - The rematch of 2011 Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball Championship Final of Stetson vs. Jacksonville, had the same outcome on Friday, with the Hatters coming out on top, 67-60.

The 2012 A-Sun Player of the Year Victoria McGowan recorded her third triple-double of the season, which leads the nation, with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Hatters (23-9) came out strong in the first half leading the Dolphins (11-20) throughout the half and at one point holding 14-point lead over the Dolphins. JU was able to trim Stetson's lead to nine by the half, 37-28. At the start of the second half, Jacksonville continued to make up ground and tied the Hatters, 43-43 with 14:13 showing on the clock, but JU was unable to take the lead away from the Hatters.

McGowan, who hit a game-winning half-court shot in last year's semifinal, duplicated her heroics this year with a triple-double. Cherisse Burris helped the Hatters out by totaling 12 points and seven rebounds to help send Stetson to the conference final for back-to-back years. Sasha Sims added a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Leading the Dolphins on the court was Tracie Sneed who scored 14 points and pulled in eight rebounds. Abril Peeples picked up 12 points.

Stetson will try and take the conference championship at noon ET on Saturday as they face the top-seeded FGCU Eagles.
