All season long, the Hatters have "held serve" at home, going 9-0 and outscoring their opponents by an average of 19 points per game.

Now Stetson will face a challenging stretch of four consecutive road games over a 10-day span, beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday night at Northern Kentucky. The Hatters (14-5, 6-1) and Norse (10-8, 6-1) are tied for second in the Atlantic Sun standings, just one game out of first place.

"I was hoping we would play the next four games at home, but they are not going to let us do that," head coach Lynn Bria joked about the upcoming stretch of games. "It is just harder to win on the road. You have to play better than you do at home. Sometimes your offense doesn't really go, and your defense becomes really important on the road. You have got to get stops. I'm encouraged by our effort and our rebounding because we are going to need it on the road."

The Hatters are coming off a 84-67 victory over Jacksonville on Saturday. Junior point guard Jama Sharp buried seven three-pointers and scored a career-high 25 points to help lead the Stetson attack.

Amber Porter added five blocks to her season block total (67) and is just six rejections shy of breaking the school single-season record. She continues to be the top shot-blocking freshman in the NCAA.

Sasha Sims, who scored 16 points Saturday, ranks fifth all-time in school history in scoring (1448), just 122 points behind record-holder Michelle Michael's total of 1570. Sims would move up to fourth in school history with nine more points.

The all-time series between Stetson and Northern Kentucky is tied 1-1, with each team winning on its home court last season.

Following the NKU game, the Hatters will head south to Nashville, Tenn. to face Lipscomb on Saturday evening.  Next weekend Stetson will visit USC Upstate and ETSU.

Thursday's game will be broadcast live on ASun.TV (available on computers and mobile devices). The Stetson audio broadcast can heard on WSBB AM1230 New Smyrna Beach, AM1490 DeLand, and online at with Ryan Rouse on the call.  Live stats, the Stetson women's basketball twitter feed, and Hat-Alerts text messages will provide in-game updates as well.
