DeLAND---Stetson women’s basketball team will visit Miami on Thursday, March 20 in the opening round of the WNIT. Game time will be announced later in the week. The field of 64 was unveiled late Monday.

This will be the fourth straight post-season appearance for Stetson, and the second time the Hatters have participated in the WNIT. Stetson last played in the tournament in 2012.

The Hatters (26-7) earned the Atlantic Sun Conference’s automatic bid after finishing as the A-Sun’s runner up in both the regular season and post-season.

Miami (16-14) is the top Atlantic Coast Conference team in the field of 64. The Hurricanes went 8-8 in ACC play this season.

The game will be a homecoming of sorts for Hatters head coach Lynn Bria and assistant coach Pam Brown. Bria served as an assistant for the Hurricanes during the 2007-08 season, one year prior to her taking the reigns at Stetson. Brown served as the Hurricanes’ Coordinator of Basketball Operations from 2007 to 2009.
